LG Innotek to Unveil Integrated Automotive Technology Vision at CES 2026
LG Innotek is set to present a more consumer-oriented vision of its automotive technology at CES 2026, showcasing integrated systems for autonomous driving and electric vehicles that extend beyond its established role as a camera component supplier for global brands including Apple.
The company announced Wednesday that it will install two full-scale vehicle mockups at the entrance of the Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall during CES, running January 6-9. The displays will demonstrate how LG Innotek's sensing, lighting, and power management technologies function as integrated systems rather than standalone components, with a total of 35 products embedded across the two models.
The autonomous driving concept car will highlight interior and exterior perception technologies that the company considers essential for next-generation driver assistance systems. A key debut is an under-display camera module positioned beneath the cockpit screen, enabling driver monitoring while maintaining a streamlined dashboard design. The model also features a digital key system with child presence detection, a safety function developed in anticipation of stricter regulations in major markets.
Reliability under challenging driving conditions is another focal point. LG Innotek will introduce an active-cleaning camera module that utilizes proprietary AI-based software to enhance lens clarity in rain or dust—a critical capability for autonomous functions that rely on uninterrupted visual data. Visitors will have the opportunity to sit inside the concept car and view simulated scenarios on a front-mounted display.
The EV mockup will spotlight powertrain and battery control systems, featuring a wireless battery management system and B-Link, a unit that combines battery management and junction box functions to optimize vehicle architecture.
These exhibits come as LG Innotek continues to diversify its revenue streams, with automotive emerging as one of its most consistently growing segments. The company's order backlog reached 17.8 trillion won ($12.1 billion) in the third quarter, marking five consecutive years of growth.
