The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) announced on December 10 that Tom Hale, CEO of smart ring company ŌURA, will keynote the CES 2026 Leaders in Technology (LIT) Dinner.

The invitation-only event, scheduled for Wednesday, January 7, brings together policymakers, technologists, media professionals, and entrepreneurs to discuss the intersection of innovation and technology policy. Bloomberg Technology co-host Ed Ludlow will interview Hale in a fireside chat format, exploring topics including evolving opportunities in health technology, data privacy and security for global products, and creating a digital health regulatory environment that fosters innovation while empowering consumers to manage their own health.

Founded in Finland, ŌURA has positioned itself at the forefront of consumer health innovation with its flagship product, Oura Ring. The smart ring uses medical-grade sensors to track sleep, readiness, and daily health metrics, and the company has sold more than 5.5 million units globally.

Hale joins an impressive lineup of CES 2026 keynoters, including AMD's Dr. Lisa Su, Caterpillar's Joe Creed, Havas and Vivendi's Yannick Bolloré, Lenovo's Yuanqing Yang, and Siemens AG's Roland Busch.

CES 2026 will take place January 6-9, 2026, in Las Vegas.

LIT Dinner는 1월 7일(수) 초청자 한정으로 진행되는 행사로, 정책입안자, 기술 전문가, 미디어, 기업가들이 모여 혁신과 기술 정책의 접점에 대해 논의하는 자리다. 블룸버그 테크놀로지의 공동 진행자 에드 러들로(Ed Ludlow)가 헤일 CEO와 파이어사이드 챗(fireside chat) 형식의 인터뷰를 진행하며, 헬스 테크놀로지의 발전 가능성, 글로벌 제품의 데이터 프라이버시 및 보안, 혁신을 촉진하고 소비자가 스스로 건강을 관리할 수 있도록 하는 디지털 헬스 규제 환경 조성 방안 등을 주제로 대담을 나눌 예정이다.
